There are 4 Primary Schools in the area.  All of which have nursery provision:

The following nurseries are available in the Children’s Centre Area:

• Bees Knees Day Nursery in Cambrian Way provide care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, 8-6pm.  Open 52 weeks a year (except bank holidays).  There is space for 124 children daily.  01442 393341. www.thebeeskneesdaynursery.com

• Flower Pots Day Nursery in Adeyfield Road provide care and education for children 3 months to 5 years old, 8.00am to 6.00pm. Open 52 weeks a year (except bank holidays).  01442 289090 www.flowerpotsdaynursery.co.uk

• St.Nicholas Nursery in Eastwick Row, provide care for children from 0-5 year olds, 7.30am to 6.30pm and have 66 places available. Open 52 weeks a year (except bank holidays). 01442 253488. www.sunhilldaycare.com

• Jack and Jills Day Nursery has recently moved to Wood Lane End. It offers full day care or morning/afternoon sessions, for children from 6 weeks to 5 years and up to 8 years in holidays. There are the following Pre-Schools available in the area:

• St.Barnabas Pre-school providing care and education for children two years to four years. The group opens everyday 9-3.30pm. There is space for 38 children per day.  Based at St.Barnabas Church, Queens Square, Adeyfield.01442 217366. www.stb-hemel.info .

• Little Oaks Pre School providing care and education for children aged 2 years and 9 months till 5 years.  Monday - Friday 9am - 3.30pm (can use lunch club). Held at Adeyfield Community Centre, Queens Square. 01442 252030 or 07870 124 926.
