About the Centre

Windmill Children’s Centre was designated as a Sure Start Children’s Centre in December 2007 and we achieved Full Core Offer in October 2009.  The Centre’s Lead Agency is Broadfield Primary School and the centre is located on the entrance to the infant school site on Broadfield Road. Our policies are available for viewing at the Centre.

The Centre offers services and support to all children and their families aged 0-5 years in Adeyfield, Highfield and St.Pauls. Please feel free to contact us with any queries you may have about what is available locally.

We are very lucky to have a new building which has a large entrance area packed with information and leaflets, there is also a room that can be used for groups and has the facility to be made into two smaller rooms if needed. We also use venues in the community to offer services, especially in Highfield.

The Centre works closely with the LINK Family Services which works with children and their families aged 5-19.  They have a purpose built vuilding on the site of Hobletts Junior School and the co-ordinator is Lisa Britton:

From December you will need to register with Windmill Children's Centre before taking part in the activities.
