Pre-SchoolsWestfield Pre-school - Situated next door to Westfield Children’s Centre, the pre-school moved to its present building in June 2007, but was originally established by mothers from the West Watford Free Church over 35 years ago and is a facility for the local community. The pre-school is open 5 days a week and runs 2 sessions a day, 38 weeks a year. The pre-school offers flexible hours between 9am and 3pm to suit parents. The pre-school also offers a lunch club every day. Funding for 3 year old children is provided by Hertfordshire County Council. The fees for under 3’s are £5.00 a session. During the sessions, the children are offered a snack. The morning sessions have toast (because some children do not have breakfast), fruit and a choice of milk or water. The afternoon sessions are offered fruit with milk or water. We ask the parents to provide the fruit. The preschool follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, which sets the standards for learning, development and care for children up to five years old. Each child is allocated a key person who assesses and progresses the child through their learning journey at pre-school. The pre-school offers a safe and secure learning environment. The pre-school has a very large outside area that is secure. The children have a variety of equipment to explore and play with. For more information please contact Lynda or Lorraine on 07999 860100.
