Parent/Carer Support

As a family you may need to know about antenatal and post natal care; breastfeeding support; parent and toddler groups; childminders; pre-schools and other early year’s settings. You may have worries about your child’s sleeping patterns; feeding; and behaviour problems.

The Lanes Children's Centre can support you in the everyday challenges that parents face in bringing up young children. The Children’s Centre is a one-stop shop for information and support.

The Lanes Children's Centre provides universal parenting support through groups, activities and events. For information about parenting workshops and courses during the Autumn term, please contact Zoë Hier.

Parent Forum

The services provided by the children’s centre should be shaped by parents. To ensure that parents have a voice in the services provided, a Parent Forum needs to be established. If you would like to find out more or take part in a Parents Forum please contact Zoë Hier.
