Our Team
The Children’s Centre Manager is Zoë Hier. Zoë has over 14 years experience working in the Early Years and has gained her BA Hons Education Studies (Early Years) and her Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) course. She has also completed her National Professional Qualification in Centre Leadership (NPQICL) in July 2011.
Zoë is supported by a strong team as follows:
Jo Roberts - Children's Centre Coordinator
Jo joined the team in January 2010 as the Children’s Centre Co-ordinator, and although a large part of her role is office administration and toy library co-ordination, Jo also leads the music sessions at all of our settings.
Jo went to Tring Park School for Performing Arts from the age of 9 and then went on to London to study Musical Theatre at The Arts Educational School in Chiswick gaining a diploma. After college she spent many years as a professional musical theatre actress performing in theatres across the country, abroad and in London’s West End. Her love for music and for singing has enabled her to create a fun but educational and interactive singing and movement class which parents, carers, babies and children alike enjoy and fully participate in.
Jo has also worked as a personal assistant and in marketing and business development, where she gained her Chartered Institute of Marketing Certificate. But her proudest achievement to date is being the Mum to her two lovely boys!
Cath Fairnell - Children's Centre Coordinator
Cath Fairnell joined the team in June 2010, bringing a background in language, culture and communication skills (BA Hons MFL) and several years experience in early years education.

Cath has worked with children and adults with specialist needs and is an active supporter of Playskill, a local group for pre-school children with specialist physical needs.
Cath has studied and worked both in the UK and overseas and as a local Mum of two primary age children, has first hand knowledge of support the centre can offer.
