Services Provided
As a Children's Centre we work closely with a range of partners to ensure effective working together in order to achieve our best possible outcomes for all the children in our community.
Our partners include: Pre-schools, Day care, Health, Housing, Homestart, St Albans Council, Herts Social Care, Herts County Council, Jobcentre Plus, Oaklands College to name but a few. We are also fortunate enough to be on site with the Child Development Centre, which allows positive relationships to be developed and maintained.
Our lead agency is Health, which is a big advantage for our families. We work closely with the Health Visiting team and can offer a quick response to our families over a range of issues.
A Children's Centre is a one stop shop offering access to information and services for children under 5 years and their families.

Links to training and job opportunities
Parenting and family support
We run services directly ourselves and also signpost to others within the community. St Albans has 4 Sure Start Children's Centres within the city. Funding is allocated for each Children's Centre within each community.
