Please note Due to staff shortages the 9.15-11.30am Thursday Well Baby Clinic has been temporarily closed until further notice.

The clinic will be joined together with the Principal Health Centre on Fridays 9.30am - 12.00pm in Civic Close, St Albans.

News Update.... From the 1st April 2012, we will be introducing charges for some of our groups/courses.

Baby Massage - There will be a non-refundable £25 fee for the 5 week course (susidised if in receipt of benefit).

Chatterbox Babies Group (6mths-1yr) - There will be a non-refundable £21 fee for a 6 week course (susidised if in receipt of benefit).

Chatterbox Tots Group (18mths-3yrs) - There will be a non-refundable £21 fee for a 6 week course (susidised if in receipt of benefit).

First Aid - There will be a £5 non-refundable booking fee for a 2 week course (susidised if in receipt of benefit).

....Special Announcement....

The new Mayor, Councillor Aislinn Lee, has announced Sure Start as one of her nominated projects this year, during her year in office, May 2011-May 2012. The other beneficiary is St Albans and Hertsmere Women's Refuge (SAHWR), a close partner to Sure Start. This is a very exciting time for both Sure Start and SAHWR. There will be many fund raising opportunities and events during the Mayors term in office.
Mayor Aislinn Lee has chosen local projects involved with children to benefit from the donations she hopes to receive. All major events will be covered over the next year by the local press.
