Hertford 'Selections' Children's Centre

About the Centre

Hertford Selections Children's Cente is situated adjacent to The Sele School on Welwyn Road Hertford. The building was historically the school youth wing and it was in much need of a new purpose and identity. It has undergone some major refurbishment to facilitate the New Children's Centre. The Children's Centre is now open and families living in Bayford, Bengeo, Hertford, Hertingfordbury, Little Berkhampsted, Sele, Tewin, and all the Village Greens from Staines Green down to Epping Green will be able to register with the centre to recieve details of activities and events going on each week throughout the year.

Holiday Activities - In particular it is hoped that during the holidays the centre will be able to offer something for families when other toddler groups and community groups tend to close. When identified services can be taken out into communities or local schools to support all families to have equal access. If you think you live in an area where there are limited or no services for 0 - 4's please contact us.

It is hoped that Children’s Centres will become the first, local port of call for all families with young children, from the first antenatal visits, through being a new parent, for general advice or support on issues affecting their child’s health, development or care, or information about the challenges parents face every day in bringing up their children in the crucial early years.
