Let's Talk!

Bed wetting, sleep issues, challenging behaviour, transitions and changes.

Would you like to talk to an educational psychologist about your child?
The service is free, confidential and aimed at Redbourn and villages pre school children but not exclusively.

New Parents!

Postnatal course is running regularly (please contact us for dates).

Redbourn and Villages Children's Centre would like to welcome new parents in Redbourn and surrounding villages to a series of Postnatal sessions being held at the centre.

Limited spaces are available, to book your free place on the course please contact the Children's Centre 01582 688512 or email admin.redbourn@hertschildrenscentres.org.uk .

The sessions cover different topics taken by our local health visitors, infant massage instructor, Red cross first aid and Children's Centre staff.

Topics covered in the 6 week sessions:

Crying, sleeping and routines - Intro to infant massage - Children's safety and minor ailments - Resuscitation for children - Learning through play and sing & rhyme - Family Diet, intro to solid foods and weaning.

December/January Sessions!

Grandparent Group - 1st Wednesday of the month 9.15am - 11.30am

Thursday afternoon fun - every Thursday 2.00pm - 3.15pm, please call us to book your place

Dads Stay and Play - please phone for the next date (Saturday once a month 10.00 - 11.45am)

Twins Group - 3rd Friday of the month 2.00pm - 3.15pm

Out and About

Tracey will be attending some of the local groups and drop in's in the area to see how the Children's Centre can support the families and also meet new families at these sessions.

She will be attending the following :

Markyate Clinic - 9.30am - 11.00am (1st, 3rd & 5th Tuesday of the month)

Flamstead Parent & Toddler Group - once a month

Markyate Parents & Toddler Group - once a month

Young Parents Group  - Principle Health Centre St Albans - once a month 12.30pm - 2.00pm

New day and time for Dad's Stay and Play!

Please call us for the next date (monthly on a Saturday 10.00am- 11.30am)

Fathers, Step Dads, Grandads, Uncles or any male carers of children under 5 are welcome.

Please feel free to come along and have some fun with your children.

If possible please let us know if you are able to come to help us with our planning.
