Children's Centres are a new concept. We are funded by the government to improve learning and development opportunities for children by helping parents access services. We want to provide the services that our community needs.

We work closely with our Extended School Network so we can support families with children from 0 – 19 years.

Vision

Where Children and Families Come First!

• To support all children under five and their families, to give them a ‘Sure Start’ in life.
• To follow the ‘Every Child Matters’ principles and to support others to do so. The five principles are: be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.
• To provide a ‘first port of call’ for information and support, which may lead to providing services or directed on to others.
• To provide a welcoming, positive, inclusive environment at all identified locations to all residents in the designated area.
• To provide high quality support and services in response to local need.
