Offering a helping hand to children and parents living in the Tring and district area
We work in your community to provide various services to young children aged 0-5 years and their families in Tring and the surrounding villages.
The Orchard Children's Centre at Dundale Primary School in Tring, will be a central point where families can access information and services. Our aim is to support services that already exist in the area as well as to provide additional services to help children, their families and carers reach their full potential.

Volunteers wanted!
We desperately need some volunteers to help us run activities, creches and fund raising.
If you can spare some time (from 1 hour to a whole day) and are interested, we will need to carry out an enhanced CRB check (forms can be collected from us and we will pay for this to be done). Please contact us if you would like to join us as a volunteer!

New Toddler Group - Wilstone Village Hall
Weekly fun including singing, messy play, stories adn lots of toys for under 5's.
Starting Tuesday 21st February 1.30pm - 3pm, then every week at Wilstone Village Hall.
Parenting Puzzle - Free 10 week course
Stressed Out! Kids driving you mad? Want more fun in your family life? Want to make a change? Weds 29th Feb 2012 thru to Weds 16 th May 2012 - 12.30pm – 2.30pm at Tring Community Centre.

Change to School Access during the School Day
The School has decided to follow recent advice from the Local Authority and close all vehicular and pedestrian gates during the school day. Gates will be opened before the start of school and before the close of school to allow access. If you are using the gates at any other time please close them.
Children Centre Visitors are welcome to open the gates to enter the premises but please close them behind you.

Little Feet Toddlers Group - Aldbury - NEW
Every Tuesday morning - term time only - starts TUESDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2011
10.30am - 12.00pm at Aldbury Memorial Hall. Stay and Play, healthy snack and drink for the children, tea of coffee for grown ups.

Come to our weekly Baby Clinic starting on Mondays from 10am - 11.30am.

Register First
From January 2010 you will need to register with Orchard Children's Centre before taking part in any activities. Our Registration Form can be completed in advance but please do not email back as we need your signature.
The Information Leaflet explains in more detail why we require you to register with us.
Safety
One of the school's pupils was nearly involved in an accident recently as he walked in through the car exit gates. Fortunately the car had just started to move and was not travelling at any speed. NO parent or child should be coming through those gates. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU USE THE PEDRESTRIAN GATES.
Please note that due to Health & Safety Dogs are not allowed anywhere on school premises.
