The Government believes that the core purpose of Sure Start Children’s Centres is to improve outcomes for young children and their families, with a particular focus on the most disadvantaged, so children are equipped for life and ready for school, no matter what their background or family circumstances.

Berrygrove Children’s Centre offers a range of services to local children aged up to five years and their families. Please see the Diary for more information and current programmes.

We are open from 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday all year round, except for bank holidays and Christmas Week.

Berrygrove Primary and Nursery School is the Lead Agency for the Children's Centre. The new Children's Centre building is on the same site, alongside Berrygrove Pre-school.

The entrance to the Children's Centre, Pre-school and Daycare is at the top of Cow Lane, beyond the barrier and opposite the new houses. Follow the footpath to the green gate on the left which takes you onto the site.
Parking is available at Sainsburys, but please do not park in restricted use spaces.

Services at Berrygrove Children’s Centre include:
Integrated Early Education and Childcare –offered on site by Berrygrove Nursery and Berrygrove Pre-school and Daycare Centre.
Support for parents - including advice on parenting, local childcare options and access to specialist services for families.
Child and family health services – including well-baby clinic, post natal support, breast-feeding support.
Family Learning – supporting parents to help their children to learn and achieve.
Links to the local Jobcentre Plus and adult training.

Daycare for 2 to 4 year olds
Berrygrove Pre-school and Daycare Centre is open for children aged 2 to 5 years, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
