Our Team
The Children’s Centre Manager, Sue Smith, achieved designation of Barleyfields Children’s Centre in the autumn of 2009 and full core offer in March 2011. Sue completed her BA Hons Education Studies (Early Years) in 2009 and has recently achieved the NPQICL (National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership).
Angela Armstrong, Family Outreach Worker, supports the provision of services at the Children's Centre and works with families on a one to one basis. Angela has successfully completed her Foundation Degree and the Families Going Forward qualification .
Angie James is the Barleyfields Children's Centre Coordinator and joined the team in July 2010. Angie completed her BA Hons Education Studies (Early Years) in 2010 and has recently qualified as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage.
Liz Eksteen joined the Barleyfields team in April 2011 as a Family Outreach Worker. Liz supports groups and settings in the Children's Centre area. Liz previously worked as a Development Officer for PsLA and has brought with her a wealth of information and expertise.
